I'm an aspiring software engineer and scientific programmer with a life-long passion for art and astronomy! I've always held a fascination for the stars. Utilizing my skills in programming, I hope to one day contribute to the field of astronomy.

Currently interning at Quansight, where I am making the NumPy test suite more thread-safe.

Academics


  • Graduated from Towson University with a degree in Computer Science and a minor in Astronomy.
  • Assisted with upgrading the Towson University 16" telescope, focusing on the software and computer capabilities.
  • Was part of a Dynamic Eclipse Broadcast team at Towson University, where we took scientific pictures of the April 8th 2024 total solar eclipse.
  • Attended Astro Scholars program at STScI/JHU in 2022.

Experience


  • Taught at CTY as an Astrophysics teacher assistant.
  • Space Astronomy Summer Program Intern at Space Telescope Science Institute in 2024. A recording of my presentation and research can be found here. I also presented my research at the 245th AAS meeting.
  • Worked as a teacher assistant for computer science and astronomy classes. I worked under Dr. Jennifer Scott, Dr. Miquel Angel Requena Torres, and Dr. Neda Saeedloei.
